Random Adventure – Slacklining

I love random adventures. They are an important part of what I do and who I am as a person. After all some of the most important paths my life has taken started as random adventures. Examples:

“Want to try out for the Rowing team? We need strong people like you”
Myself: “Sure why not”

And several years later while I was going to Northeastern on a rowing scholarship.

“Want to go hike Mount Monadnock with me in New Hampshire?”
Me: “Yeah, I’ll do that”

Several years later I met my husband while doing insane hikes in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.

So although most random adventures don’t lead to life changing experiences, most at least provide a lesson or at least some fun. And you never know which experience will change your path.

So the other day as I was leaving work Ben noticed some people slacklining in the park by the river. We stopped by and said hi and invited ourselves to join in. It was a great photo opportunity and a lot of fun, although we did spend most of the time falling. The Full set of what I uploaded can be found here.
