Wet Weather

Filed under: Life — Miriam @ 5:30 pm

Last Saturday was a beautiful day. It was sunny, warm, basically perfect hiking weather. So we hopped in the car and headed North. We were planning on hiking Welsh-Dickey but as we headed North the clouds got darker and darker. Next thing we saw was thunder and lightning so we turned around and headed South.

Then we got stuck in a real Monsoon.
Rain Storm
The rain was coming down so hard we could barely see the people in front of us. Then it started hailing. We drove by a guy on a motorcycle who had pulled over. He had no helmet on and was being pelted by rain. Needless to say, while most of New Hampshire was enjoying a nice sunny day with occasional thunderstorms, we drove right into the severe storms.

Rain StormI was in the back seat with Cooper. You can tell that he was very stressed out about the weather events around us.

  1. That’s a bummer. That happens to me a bit. We have great weather down in the southern part of the state, try to go up north for some hiking and get poured on.
